Job Description Summary

Compensation Grade: G2 Payband

JOB SUMMARY: To support Registered Representatives and Investment Advisor Representatives by using approved software to produce needs assessments and financial plans, in writing, to drive a consistent sales process/client experience and assist producers in identifying additional cross-sell opportunities.

RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Director or AVP.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
1. Reviews and/or prepares comprehensive financial plans and needs based assessments by entering data for proposals using approved financial planning software. 


2. Prepares alternatives and recommendations while also framing the plan for presentation/delivery to the client.


3. Partners with Sales Partners to ensure awareness of open proposals with producers to drive status and outcome.


4. Meets all regulatory requirements, supports, and coordinates under applicable laws, rules and regulations.


5. Adheres to all firm compliance and supervisory policies, including but not limited to, anti-money laundering/Office of Foreign Asset Control and/or Privacy policies and procedures.


6. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

License/Certifications: FINRA 6; CFP, strongly preferred. Associates must obtain the required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails or is unable to obtain required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.

Experience: Two years of experience Financial Services industry with specialization in Financial Planning

Knowledge:  Knowledge of Profiles or Money Guide Pro or similar financial planning software. An in-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management and client service strategies desired. Knowledge of investment products.  Familiarity with Property & Casualty Distribution a plus.

Skills/Competencies: Superior analytical, organizational, research, initiative and multi-tasking skills.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Overtime Eligibility: Not Eligible (Exempt).

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
