You will be working as Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be responsible in providing Financial Planning and analysis expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Your responsibilities

Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the DivisionWorking with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identifying trends. Preparing and analyzing Product / Customer profitabilitySupporting preparation of relevant functions for financial reporting, business planning & forecasting. Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirementsIdentifying areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions, and business units. Supporting auditsPreparing allocation cycles and calculation of Labor hour rates and overhead absorption rates for different business scenarios. Performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWCValidating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviewsEnsure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Ensure SOPs are prepared and updated regularly for all activities performed by the team

Your background

Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred1 to 4 years of experience in FP&AStrong analytical and problem-solving skills along with thorough / detail-oriented approachStrong communication skills and fluent in EnglishHands on experience in SAP FICO, Project controlling and excellent MS Excel skills is an advantageAbility to work with diverse teams across different countries and self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
