Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite, #LI- HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming inspection of business performance versus Plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions•\tPerforming closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions. Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / Functions to know and examine the drivers of financial performance and identify trends•\tPreparing and examine Product / Customer profitability. Financial inspection for various “what if” scenarios and examine and the overall impact to the Divisions. Performing cost inventories, NWC•\tPerforming Capital investment evaluation using NPV / IRR techniques. Preparing allocation cycles and calculation of Labor hour rates and overhead absorption rates for different business scenarios. preparing and examine ad-hoc reports as per division’s / function’s request•\tAnalysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause. helping in preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting. assisting forex valuations, hedging, audits and Group on special projects•\tValidating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Ensuring processes and controls within own area of ownership are designed and implemented in line with group and unit requirements

Qualifications for the role

\tProfessionally qualified (CMA or CA)\tAt least 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Experience in Manufacturing industry / Factory controlling / FP&A is preferable.\tHands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules and basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP is an advantage\tExperience with MS Office\tSelf-motivated with ability to work with diverse teams across different countries.
