Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite, #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAccounting, allocation, and reporting of functional costs. Accounting - Advising invoice booking , creation of month end accurals. Allocation - Local charges & CHGPL charges and adhocs queries from business on the cost. Reporting - ISPBR reporting•\tPlanning and preparation of Budgets and 5Q Rolling Forecast, working with the IS manager for planning and preparation of budget, Reporting budget and 5Q Rolling Forecast in ISPBR•\tMonitoring cost by variance analysis of budget v/s forecast•\tPeriodic analysis of Financial statements and KPI's such as Cash flow, Balance sheet, Income statement. Preparation of 5Q cash flow projection.•\tAnalysis of root cause for over/ under absorption of costs•\tInvestigating excessive expenses, reporting discrepancies and recommending appropriate actions•\tBackcharging third parties, issuing invoices and tracking payment, Creation of invoice to third parties. Tracking of the receipt from the customer•\tReview monthly and quarterly budget performance reports, ensuring businesses and division operate within allocated budget. Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request.

Qualifications for the role

Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Finance or Accounting, CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred 3-5 years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands on experience in SAP modules preferred. Experience with MS Office Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries. Fluent in English and strong communication skills
