Job Description

Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business. 

The Role

Serve as a Finance partner to Operating Staff with timely and relevant reporting and analysis that drives the most informed business decisions. Provide analysis, insights and recommendations that drive profitability, mitigate risks and offer solutions to business problems.

What You’ll Do

Build upon prior work experiences to propose and implement business solutions for more complex business problems with some independent judgement and autonomyAnalyze business results (vs. forecast, budget and prior year), understand and explain changes in business drivers, drive forecast accuracy, and recommend improvementsDevelop and utilize financial analysis tools to proactively evaluate financial performance and business risk (e.g. financial models, business cases, run rate, advanced data analytics)Prepare reporting package for monthly operating review and /or Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), selecting the best presentation method for audienceSupport the budget and MTP development. Analyze trends to establish aggressive yet achievable targetsForm relationships with functional stakeholders and business partnersDisplay deep understanding of how position / operating staff impacts the Income Statement and Cash FlowChampion continuous improvement and innovation (e.g. streamline process, improve data analytics)Effectively communicate financial performance and results of analysis performed to Finance Leadership and key business partnersProactively seeks opportunities to grow (e.g. develop new skills, attend training opportunities, network, feedback)Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)​​ 

Bachelor's degree holder preferably Business, Finance or related disciplineStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point.Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in conversational English is an advantageFundamental understanding of credit card industry, regulatory and legal compliance, revenue management and call center processesHas knowledge or background related to fraud, audit, business related investigations, revenue management, chargeback, working with US entities and individuals, cash accounting, and credit cards is an advantageAt least 2 years of experience in financial/management reporting or other related areasAbility to understand, speak and write Portuguese or Spanish is a plus (requirement for bilingual analysts)
