Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect and interpret financial data. Each day, you will up-date budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite, #LI - Hybrid This role is contributing to the Financial Planning and Analysis in Bangalore. •\tYou will be mainly accountable for: Handling the inspection of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.•\tPerforming benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry contestant and similar businesses within ABB. •\tPerforming inspection of business performance versus Plan and forecast. •\tPerforming month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions. •\tWorking with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to un-derstand and inspect. the drivers of financial performance. •\tInspection of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause. •\tPerforming cost / benefit study and examine of inventories, NWC • Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request. •\tPreparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting and audits. •\tValidating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing rec-onciliation and review of exceptions

Qualifications for the role

\t2- 5 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.\tHands on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred\tBachelor’s or master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred\tStrong problem solving skills.\tThorough / detail-oriented approach.\tStrong communication skills.\tFluent in English.
