As a Financial Planning & Analysis - Associate within our Home Lending & Auto PXT Finance team, you will be responsible for managing continual financial processes and reporting, providing insightful analysis and commentary on key financial metrics, and enhancing controls and streamlining processes. You will also be expected to provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management, identify opportunities for process and reporting efficiencies, and adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing continual financial processes and reporting including month end, actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount/resourcing metrics and scenarios/views and variance analysis, providing business rational for the Home Lending & Auto PXT PXT financial performance and forecastingSupport Home Lending & Auto PXT Finance team with monthly reporting, incorporating ad-hoc views, providing insights across direct and allocation expenses to product F&BMs and Home Lending & Auto PXT leadershipEnsure reports are insightful and contain commentary on key movements and watch itemsProvide headcount reporting and planning with requisitions management, vendor management for the respective business managers for Home Lending & Auto business across PXT and manage the cost center hierarchy and changes requested to the sameTake on responsibility of bi-weekly / monthly headcount reporting from Home Lending & Auto PXT team, inclusive of named joiners and known leaversHelping design new reports and dashboard s to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management. Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible. Prepare insightful, high quality Senior Management presentationsGain overall knowledge and understanding of Home Lending & Auto portfolio and its value to CCB and JPMC. Managing allocation reporting/oversight/analysis, assistance with vendor spends and accruals in line with forecast and recent spend approvals, as well as reporting on status of business casesDemonstrate ability to identify and leverage best practices from other PXT F&BM groups. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basisIdentify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased process and reporting efficienciesEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations. Adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 10+ years of post-qualification experienceStrong financial analytical skills – Fusion of Finance and Data CapabilitiesStrong Team Management SkillsExcellent partnering skills. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environmentAbility to research issues/problems and provide a ‘solution-based’ approach Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior managementAbility to present information in a clear and concise manner that tells the story behind financials in a compelling wayConfident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflictsDetail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skills a mustIndividual must be able to work independently as well as in a team situationExcellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressureSelf-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilitiesTiming – 2:00pm to 11:00pm (may change for budget periods, adhocs and projects)Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
