Job Summary:
Repsol Renewables North America is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director to lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes while partnering with senior leadership to provide actionable insights for business decision-makings. The FP&A Director will lead and manage the FP&A team while coordinating activities across interdisciplinary functions (O&M, E&C, Development, Energy Management, Finance, Corporate functions, etc.) to deliver timely reporting and analysis to keep management and stakeholders apprised of business performance.
The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and forecast processes.Develop and present comprehensive financial reporting packages for senior management and corporate teams.Lead the implementation of new performance management systems, tools and methods.Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models used to manage budgets, forecasts tracking of historical financial information.Continuously identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and decision support.Serve as a trusted business partner to key departments providing insights to support decision-making.Act as a key point of contact for financing partners on performance of projects and portfolios.Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering an environment of collaboration, growth, and accountability.Qualifications:
Must be qualified to work in the US for any employerBachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting.8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in industries such as renewable power, engineering, construction, or infrastructure.Track record of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.Ability to lead and manage people and leverage experience to develop capabilities across teams.Sound analytical, planning, and organizational skills.Understanding of accounting principles as it relates to financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.Required skills:
