Financial Planning & Analysis Director DAUT EMEA

 

As EMEA FP&A Director, you will:

Provide financial leadership in planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of
budgeting, reporting, and business analytics with support from EMEA FP&A team Lead the development, implementation and measurement of the business planning phases
(i.e. POR, Budget Reviews, Financial Reviews), and their successful executionDrive operational engagement and business wide initiatives, with guidance from VP Finance, (across EMEA and functional groups) designed to improve business reporting and operating performanceLead FP&A rigor and simplification initiatives to drive timely, accurate and insightful analytics Build collaborative relationships with BU HQ, EMEA Site Finance teams and Operating teams and World Area Planning teamsSupport business leadership team in preparation of budgets, operating plans, investment strategies, and resource planningCollaborate with EMEA sites to drive capital improvements, including receivables, payables and inventory Participate in key initiatives based on guidance from VP FinanceRecruit, mentor and develop Finance talent to strengthen the depth and breadth of the DAUT Financial Planning team Ensuring compliance with Emerson Corporate Policies 
 Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or universityProcess oriented and strong communication skillsAbility to work in a global/cross cultural environmentWorks well with ambiguity and in matrix environmentDemonstrated progressive experience in a finance role within an international environment with strong experience in Financial Planning and Analysis of large, complex business modelsIn-depth knowledge of US GAAP standards.Proficiency with commonly used IT finance tools, including SAP, Oracle, HFM, and Microsoft Office and business integration experience will be preferredFluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage. You Have:Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization and to interact with high level managementAdvanced education in Finance or an MBA
