A little about the position:
Job Summary
Latham Pool Products is seeking an FP&A Manager as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis organization. This is a highly visible role reporting to the VP of Global FP&A. The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of our finance team owning the monthly reporting processes, Board of Directors deck, quarterly forecasting process and take a leadership role in creating the Annual Operating Plan.
Some of What You Will Do:
+ Own the standardized monthly reporting process to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. Accurately and timely report the financial status of the Company with appropriate level of analytics for Board members.
+ Drive the quarterly / annual budgeting process across the Company seeking inputs from each of the categories that the Company operates in. Maintain a detailed schedule of activities and ensure ownership / accountability to maintaining the schedule. Be well versed in variance analysis to explain drivers of variances to prior year, Plan, forecast, etc.
+ Assist VP of FP&A and CFO on Guidance inputs on a quarterly / annual basis with forecasts being a key insight into process.
+ Own the quarterly Board of Directors presentation across the organization. Liaise with the Executive team to pull together the presentation on time without error.
+ Support VP of FP&A on any Corporate finance initiatives as required…. Including assisting with M&A if required.
+ Mentor and coach support for direct and indirect finance staff.
+ Prepare ad-hoc analysis for Executive management.
+ Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred
+ Knowledge of Finance/Accounting/GAAP principles and strong business acumen; CPA a plus
+ Five or more years of experience in a Public Company / Corporate FP&A setting for a manufacturing company.
+ Strong competency of Corporate FP&A reporting including Gross Margin analytics to explain key drivers of business performance (volume, price, mix, cost analysis)
+ Manufacturing background that includes an understanding of inventory accounting including absorption, standards setting, variance analysis (PPV, Labor/OH variances), etc.
+ Proven track record as an effective liaison between finance and senior managers.
+ Self-starter mentality to be able to identify gaps in processes and solve with mentorship.
+ Prior responsibilities and oversight of direct staffing a strong preference.
+ Superior problem-solving and analytical skills with solutions-oriented approach.
+ Strong knowledge of MS Office and advanced skills in Excel required.
+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and sound judgment.
+ Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills; listens effectively, transmits information accurately, and actively seeks feedback.
+ Strong interpersonal skills required.
+ Physical: Ability to use a computer and monitor and sit at a desk for extended periods of time
+ Travel: Limited travel required (<5%)

Salary Range: $110,000 to $140,000/year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
Bonus: MIB Tier 3, 10% of base pay
