Position: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Location: Long Beach, CA
Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 (DOE)

This role serves as a business partner and concentrates on identifying, understanding and communicating key cost drivers to the P&L, performing variance analyses, coordinating with the business finance leaders regarding revenue metrics for current and future performance or future revenue streams. This position will also coordinate with other organizational departments and headcount allocation matters, designs and maintains tools for the analysis of the cost structure, amongst other ad hoc responsibilities. This position must establish and maintain strong relationships with operations staff and internal client groups, operations and finance staff with strong communication and customer service skills. Extensive communication, data-collection and management with many internal clients.Manage monthly financial close/forecasting process; deliver accurate financial results including comprehensive analysis of key expense and balance sheet items; review journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities; exhibit understanding of general accountingManage operations of various regional incentive & gain-share programsTrack and analyze forecasts vs. budget; identifying key risks and opportunities; ensure all risks and opportunities are appropriately reflected in the forecast and forward projectionsUtilize, review and analyze daily, monthly and quarterly reports to provide business partners with ongoing financial insight into operational efficiencies; assess and communicate spending reduction opportunities; identify problem areas early; make recommendations to mitigate riskMonitor business performance, providing reporting on KPIs versus forecast, including detailed explanations to all variances and the creation of action plans and recommendations for improvement vs. goalsPrepare special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as requiredDevelop annual budgets and long range plans that meet all corporate requirements, are aligned with divisional strategies and incorporate recommendations for all key business partnersRoutine communication with VP of Finance relating to financial close, issues and deliverablesDevelop variance analysis and explanationsOrganize presentations and effectively communicate to director level and aboveUnderstand the interaction of systems and the impact to financial reporting.Develop value-added cross-divisional and cross-functional partnerships to maintain awareness of business activities, and leverage knowledge and best practices________________________Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent required. CPA or MBA preferred5-10 years of related experienceStrong knowledge of financial and accounting conceptsProficiency in Power BI report development preferred
