Financial Planning & Analysis Partner
We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Partner with excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong team spirit, to join our Finance department in Brussels, Belgium. This is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work.
About the role
The Financial Planning & Analysis Partner is responsible to execute the financial planning processes and ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information.
The scope of the role is global (EU, Japan, US, Rest of World) and is part of the team that covers the Patient Solutions (PS) and Patient Evidence (PE) business units. The ideal candidate will be able to perform coordination and planning.
Who you’ll work with
This role also provides qualitative analytical assistance to business partners through relevant, actionable, timely, and meaningful reports agreed upon with the business partners for actuals, budget, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will also regularly interact with management and occasionally with external stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Conducts periodic reviews of cost center and WBS element master data, settlements, and PO mappings to ensure accurate ownership and alignment.Performs monthly closing activities.Supports Finance Leads and Business stakeholders in evaluating and interpreting financial data & provides the training as neededPrepares and/or shares reports with BusinessCoordinates the forecast exercises with the Knowledgeable Planners after alignment with Finance LeadsEnsures that the budgets and forecasts are completed at the appropriate levelPerforms adjustments and reconciliations if needed on forecast changesMeets regularly with business partners to review financial performance and discuss variances on actual to budget.Provides guidance highlighting accounting changes and impact on the business.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance or related fields3+ years experience in financial planning and analysis or similar field, with a knowledge of accounting and closing proceduresStrong communication and problem solving skillsYou are fluent in English (French knowledge desirable).Demonstrated experience in stakeholders management and ability prioritize multiple and urgent tasks as well as to recommend resolutionsYou have excellent command of excel; Sap and Power BI are considered a plusYou are skilled in data management and forecasting
