Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst
Job Description

We have a temporary position available within Program Planning and Control to support program finance for our Commercial Seating and Furniture business. We are seeking a strong financial professional who will collaborate closely with our Engineering Program Management Operations and FPA Teams. The ideal candidate will effectively manage multiple projects and program teams, demonstrate critical thinking, communicate efficiently with non-financial professionals, and maintain a keen attention to detail.

ResponsibilitiesEvaluate new business cases, verify estimation methods, ensure cross-functional alignment, and certify profit margin recoverability for moderate or complex programs.Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting updates on net investment and recoverability positions.Prepare inputs for monthly cost and sales forecasts, and perform variance analysis against prior forecasts and plans for moderate or complex programs to meet contractual cost objectives. Perform similar efforts for Annual and Long-Range Plans.Identify and quantify risks and opportunities with program teams to keep management informed of the financial status and impact.Prepare and present quarterly program estimates at completion to ensure accuracy of program costs and forecasts. Arrange modifications as required and retain documentation of approvals for audit purposes.Network and coordinate cross-functionally with senior internal personnel to improve processes and reporting. Develop solutions to various complex problems while considering established policies and procedures.Work on problems of diverse scope, where data analysis may require evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Essential SkillsExperience with PPC and SAP ERP systemsStrong skills in financial analysis and program controlProficiency in financial planning and analysisAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degreeAuthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelPrior PPC experienceSAP experienceMaster's degree in finance, accounting, or an MBAWork Environment

The role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, utilizing technologies such as PPC and SAP ERP systems. You will engage with cross-functional teams and senior internal personnel to achieve organizational objectives. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
