SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst. This position reports to the US Installing Dealer (ID) Channel Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Sr Manager and is responsible for providing support to the ID Channel FP&A Team for financial reporting and analysis processes. This role has primary ownership of providing management with critical financial services such as financial analysis, review, and reporting, and maintaining the accuracy and reliability of data for Ad Hoc and Corporate Reporting. The role includes regular interfacing with numerous teams, mainly Accounting, Audit & Risk management, Sales, Operation and Supply chain.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform analysis and provide insights on actual spend against goals, plans and budgets for SunPowerProvide financial analysis and various reports to management to communicate performance and revenue/cost driversWork closely with teams within the organization, mostly with the Operations and Accounting teams to control and ensure completeness, accuracy and proper treatment of accounting entriesInvestigate and resolve issues concerning the finance processes for the organizationResponsible for consolidation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting of Results of OperationsPerform monthly and quarterly financial close process and resolution of period issues Provide support and completion of operational forecasting financial plan Provide analytical support for business decisions and participate / lead special projects and process improvements initiativesProvide daily operational support to the business units Drive team performance via use of tools such as: coaching & feedback, results documentation and counseling & mentoringComplies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulationsPerforms other duties may be assigned.RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Science in AccountancyMore than 1 year exposure in Forecasting and Financial AnalysisExperience in various accounting areas like Cost Accounting and Inventory Controls, GL, Fixed Asset, Treasury, Payroll, AR, AP Analytical and keen to detailsProficient in MS Office (Excel spreadsheet, Power Point, MS Word)Experienced in Financial Modelling and Financial Planning Tools (Anaplan)Adept in business tools like OracleGood understanding of US GAAP & IFRS accounting and reporting, SOX Compliance & ControlsAbility to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesOutstanding verbal and written communicationTeam-oriented and win-win attitude#LI-RemoteOTHER PERTINENT INFORMATIONThis is an FTE position.Candidate must be willing to work in Binan LagunaCandidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.Candidate will be on flexible work arrangement (combination of onsite and remote work) (if applicable depending on the nature of the job)Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed)Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and underrepresented minorities are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
