Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst
Job Purpose & Scope Performs budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, periodic reporting and related tasks, and assists in the administration of Workday Adaptive planning and Workday Financials. Essential Job Functions Forecasts income statement, balance sheet, and non-financial line-items and maintains/develops budget/forecast reporting packages for executive and business line management. Conducts comprehensive reporting and research analyses (including, but not limited to, working with large quantities of data, reconciling, analyzing, reporting, and summarizing financial data) and understands and effectively communicates research results timely in support of financial management. Assists in execution and maintenance of Enterprise FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) processes inclusive of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and periodic management reporting. Partners with business and functional leaders to understand drivers of current and future performance. Prepares and provides ad-hoc financial analyses and assistance to line of business and Corporate Finance partners. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in process automation and efficiency leveraging financial forecasting tools and data and technology resources. Performs other activities in support of the overall Corporate Finance team, as needed. Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States. Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials, and other forecasting and planning tools. Ability to perform accurate financial analysis. Ability to demonstrate effective analytical skills and ability to understand and communicate financial results. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to collect, analyze, and research complex, diverse data. Ability to perform ethically and with integrity. Ability to continuously build knowledge and skills related to job function. Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Basic Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other job-related field, required. 3+ years of work experience in FP&A, corporate accounting, public accounting or in a corporate finance related role, required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience with Workday Financials, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar forecasting and planning tools, preferred.
