The FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team at Grab plays a crucial role in the financial health and strategic planning of the company. Here's an overview of what the FP&A team typically focuses on Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Analysis, Reporting, Strategic Support, Risk Management

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join our finance team in a dynamic and ride-hailing and food delivery business. This is an independent role with no direct reports, requiring a business partnering mindset, analytical expertise, and team member management skills. You have prior experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering within the tech, startup, or digital platform industry.

You will report to the Finance Director, VN, KH & MM.

You will work onsite in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling for main departments.Analyze financial and operational indicators, identifying trends and providing applicable insights to lead performance.Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis, business cases, and cost optimization strategies.Collaborate with teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and product) to align financial plans with our goals.

Business Partnering & Partner Management

Be a trusted finance advisor to business leaders, providing insights that enhance decision-making.Partner with country and regional teams to improve financial visibility and accountability.Communicate financial findings to both finance and non-finance team members.

Financial Reporting & Process Improvement

Develop financial dashboards and reports to support real-time business decision-making.Improve forecasting accuracy and improve financial processes.Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Must-Have Qualifications

✔ 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or a similar role.

✔ Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and turn it into applicable insights.

✔ Excellent partner management skills – the ability to collaborate across different departments.

✔ Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)...

✔ Able to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners.

Nice to have Qualifications:

➕ Experience in tech, startup, e-commerce, or digital platform industries.

➕ Prior experience in ride-hailing, food delivery, or FinTech.

➕ Exposure to ERP and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, and SAP).
