We’re looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Specialist as part of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team. The FP&A Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, building, developing and improving the financial planning and analysis function within Infobip.
This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage financial planning processes, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting procedures that provide critical insights for informed decision-making and strategic planning. The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Specialist will be working closely with the FP&A Manager and Director of FP&A, as well as the rest of the FP&A team to ensure smooth operation of all FP&A matters.
We are in the process of building a world-class FP&A function that will support the company pre and post IPO. This means building many processes from scratch, transforming existing processes, implementing and setting-up tools, mapping the processes, evaluating internal and external stakeholders’ needs and defining analyses and reports to support them. What Will You Do
Work closely with the Finance leadership and/or Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
Use your drive, experience and skills to support designing, building and improving FP&A processes, tools and instruments
Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing, consolidating and analyzing data, defining and challenging business assumptions
Act as a business partner for various business units and stakeholders to help the organization make informed decisions based on sound financial analysis
Coordinate variance analysis, investigating causes for variances and preparing supporting materials
Design, develop and prepare management reports
Driving business performance and profitability analysis with industry specific metrics and benchmarks
Working together with business stakeholders on identifying profitability or process improvement initiatives and their implementation
Drive risks and opportunities identification process together with stakeholders and incorporating them into the forecast models
Design and preparation of decision-making materials and ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders
Supporting the design, development and implementation of software and tools in areas of finance and FP&A
Enable and participate in the month-end process
Drive or support major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives
Assisting, mentoring or guiding finance specialists or analysts
More About You
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent degree (ACCA, MBA or CFA is a plus)
Proven experience (5+ years) in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an international, dynamic, and growing organization.
Experience working in a business partnering capacity
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills: Power BI, SQL and/or planning tool is a plus
Expert knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Proactive problem solver with a results-oriented mindset
Great organizational skills and time management
Able to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
You are not afraid to dig deeper and use your analytic approach to solve any financial issues that may occur
Written and spoken fluency in English is essential
