As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.
The opportunity
We are seeking an FP&A specialist who will be accountable for delivering financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. They will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards
Your key responsibilities
• Delivery of FP&A services, ensuring the highest standards of financial analysis and reporting.
• Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, variance analysis against forecasts and budgets
• Perform financial analyses, cost of sales analysis, product costing and report on profitability
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Provide support in monitoring financial & business performance metrics and operational performance measurement metrics
• Provide business results commentary to management
• Support in preparation of executive presentations and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Support in responding to relevant ad hoc queries from the Business
Skills and attributes for succes
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis
• Knowledge of service management optics and experience in managing service delivery against key performance indicators
• Knowledge of some FP&A-related tools and technologies, including Blackline, Anaplan, ServiceNow (SNOW), Tableau, Power BI, GenAI, and RPA platforms, is desirable
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA, CA) will be an advantage
