Description Japan Customer Fulfillment Solutions (JCFS) develops innovative fulfillment and automation solutions to deliver excellent customer experience. Our mission is to continuously improve item selection and convenience at a lower price through technological innovations to meet fast-changing customer needs. JCFS seeks a PM who creates and runs a financial planning and budgeting process for JCFS projects in collaboration with JCFS Project owners, Finance, and Procurement. This process helps us enhance projects’ financial management by monitoring project costs, identifying cost overruns or variances early on, and taking corrective actions in a timely manner. オペレーション技術統括本部(JCFS: Japan Customer Fulfillment Solutions)はAmazon Japanオペレーションの技術・ソリューション開発部門として、物流プロセス、設備、自動化技術の設計・開発・導入・改善を行います。術革新を通じて「品揃え」「低価格」「利便性」を継続的に向上させること、そして顧客ニーズに合わせた次世代のFulfilment Solutionsを創出し最高の購買体験の実現を目指しています。 Financial Planning PMはJCFSプロジェクト担当者、Finance、Procurementと連携し、JCFSのビジネスゴール達成に必要なプロジェクト予算計画の策定、収益性とリスクの確認、そして四半期ごとの予実管理のメカニズムの設計と運用をリードします。 Key job responsibilities • Create and manage a financial planning, budgeting, and cost control process with JCFS stakeholders (team leaders and project owners), Finance, and Procurement. • Using the quarterly Risk and Opportunity mechanism, identify potential cost overruns or project delays, and implement appropriate measures to ensure costs are in line. • Create a business document to report to Amazon Japan Leadership on JCFS’s project investment plan, financial viability, and quarterly risk and opportunity assessment. • Seek and learn best practices from other geographies and implement their methodologies in Japan. • JCFSの各チームリーダーおよびプロジェクト担当者と連携し、プロジェクト投資計画策定と四半期ごとの予実管理および改善(Gap分析)のメカニズム設計と運用をリードします。 • Operations FinanceおよびProcurementと連携し、プロジェクト予算計画や収益性見込み、物品調達状況を確認し、プロジェクト毎の財務リスクを見える化します。 • JCFSのプロジェクト投資計画や予実評価結果をドキュメント化し、Amazon Japan Leadershipへ報告します。報告に基づき改善が必要な場合は、プロジェクト関係者と連携して実行計画の策定とアクション実行を推進します。 • グローバルステークホルダーと連携し、優れたプロセスやツール、方法論を積極的に学んでJPへの導入を推進します。 A day in the life ・PMチームに所属する全PMメンバーとWeeklyでミーティングし、JCFSのビジネス状況やJCFS外の組織に関する情報を常に共有・見える化します。 ・他チームや他組織との連携が必要な案件が出た場合、他部門の担当者と連携して要件を明確化し、ビジネスゴールに照らし合わせて実施可否および優先順位の提案を作成してリーダーシップ判断を支援します。 ・JCFSメンバーと一緒にFCやSort Centerなどの現場へ行き、JCFSのビジネスや技術を学びます。 ・Hold a weekly PM team meeting to update information about JCFS business situation. ・When we need to collaborate with other teams or organizations, we work with representatives from other departments to clarify requirements and organize prioritization aligned with business goals to support leadership decision-making. ・Visit operational sites such as FCs and Sort Centers together with JCFS members to learn about JCFS business and technology. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
