Financial Planning & Real Estate Analyst

Secaucus, New JerseyJob Summary:The Analyst will provide financial forecasting, business planning, and general accounting support to the FP&A and Real Estate Analytics leadership while working in a high paced environment. This position will produce and provide financial analyses to internal clients and management.

The analyst will also support the real estate decision making process through in-depth financial analysis and investment recommendations, sales & expense forecasting, and real estate analytics, in partnership with various corporate functions.
Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly models that assemble financial forecast for the stores and real estate, and sync that information with the financial planning systemPrepare month-end and quarter-end entries, financial reporting & GL analysis as neededExtract and report KPI for Stores and Real Estate dealsMaintain supplier/partner database, plan for expenditures, and track payment history and metricsAssist with the development of a LRP and in the annual Budget processSupport real estate specific or company strategic initiatives such as long rang plan, open-to-buy, and customer experienceWork with Real Estate Managers to create Deal sheets and lease analytics for management evaluations.Provide spatial analysis and support RE analytics including demographics, sales distribution, trade area analysis, etc.Partner with cross functional teamsTest and suggest new reports in response to current business issues and execute the necessary changes to implementComplete special projects and analysis as needed

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field2+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, retail industry a plus
