Your main responsibilities will be planning, controlling, and reporting activities for the business unit. Next to that you will support management in understanding performance, risks and forecasting to help drive their operational efficiency.
Through definition of new models/dashboards and regular use of existing operational and financial dashboards you will contribute to an increasing efficiency of the department's cost flows. You'll complete budget and financial planning, actual-versus-plan analysis, benchmarking, forecasting, and reporting activities to support management in their decision-making process.
Your analytical and critical mindset allows you to analyze and evaluate the existing cost structures and optimize the depending on cost accounting system. You'll identify efficiency measures which can be taken to help improve business performance and ensure proper cost booking.
You’ll develop regular presentations for internal stakeholders based on budget and periodic forecast consolidation and define and monitor relevant KPIs to ensure the achievement of business goals.
Finally, you’ll design follow up models to calculate benefits of efficiency plans and perform Actual vs Plan comparisons to pursue effects of agreed measures. You'll also carry out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.
