Financial Rep
Overview Reports directly to the Departmental Supervisor. Completes the admission, registration and scheduling process. Serves as liaison between patients, nurses, physicians and others. Provides excellent customer service. Qualifications Required Education: GED or High School Diploma. Preferred Education: Two (2) years of College. Necessary Skills: 1. Strong interpersonal skills. 2. Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds. 3. Knowledge of insurance requirements preferred. 4. Requires excellent decision-making skills and initiative. 5. Must be detail oriented. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work flow. 7. Must be able to perform cashiering functions. 8. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. 9. Knowledge of PC in Windows environment. 10. 25wpm typing skills. Required Experience: Minimum 2 years customer service experience Preferred Experience: Customer service experience in healthcare and/or insurance industry.
