Currently we are looking for the position of Financial Reporter 3
The Financial Reporter III is responsible for the accurate and timely generation and distribution of all financial statements and reports to both internal and external users.
What you will be doing Prepare complex and moderate risk monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial reports, GAAP and pro forma, applying experience and best practice knowledgeCollaborate and lead large, complex financial analyses with minimal oversight from team membersProvide support to management, legal and external auditorsAssist the finance team in the evaluation of various financial opportunities, such as due diligence of acquisitions and mergersDraft documentation of policies and procedures related to financial reportingIdentify, research and resolve complex financial reporting issues; work with internal and external auditors and consultants to properly document conclusionsCreate and maintain reports in financial reporting systemsProvide guidance to other team membersComply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 8 years of experience in public accounting or corporate reportingExperience applying knowledge of GAAP, financial statements and internal controlsProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactHighly organized and experienced at successfully multi-taskingDemonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightnessExcellent critical thinking and problem solving skillsStrong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasDetail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracyDemonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiencesUp to 10% travel time requiredOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the jobCompetencies:
