Overall function of the role is to perform a range of accounting and consolidation functions, including maintaining certain aspects of the general ledger, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Corporate Standards and supporting monthly\/quarterly\/annual reporting.\r\n
Key Responsibilities Include:
\u2022 Timely and accurate preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
\u2022 Maintain the general ledger and ensure that transactions are recorded properly with a focus on intercompany transactions
\u2022 Accurate preparation and review of monthly financial reporting package issued from the consolidation and reporting system and respond to any follow up questions
\u2022 Prepare timely and accurate financial information to management
\u2022 Preparation of compiled financial information and reports required by regulatory agencies
\u2022 Documentation, analysis and support of SOX and external audit
\u2022 Understand the implications of new and unusual transactions within the assigned month end accounting duties
\u2022 Identify and implement process and system improvements
\u2022 Ad hoc analysis and special projects as required\r\n
