About the Role

Responsible for delivering timely, relevant, quality financial reports for AIA PH Group under IFRS 17 basis with great accuracy to various stakeholders

Manage the financial reporting processes under IFRS 17 reporting basisEnsure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports/ disclosure notes/ reporting templates under IFRS 17 reporting basisHandle booking of required adjustments, if any, for IFRS 17 reporting purposesMonitor financial performance and perform analysis of net profits in comparison to plan, latest forecast, and prior periodPrepare annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for IFRS 17 net profitsHandle reporting to management of the financial health and provide insights to improve performance and identify trends and potential problems that may affect the company’s financial healthEnsure appropriate internal controls over financial reporting processes under IFRS 17 reporting basis and provide the required quarterly sign-off on the Financial Controls Self Assessment (FCSA) checklistContinually assess the IFRS 17 financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk, as well as lead the team in implementing the approved enhancements of processes and controls.Communicate professionally and effectively with other teams to ensure that financial reports and analysis are accurate, and any issues are resolved on a timely manner.Perform other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the immediate manager to meet operational and other requirements.
