About the Role

Responsible for delivering timely, relevant, quality financial reports for BPI AIA under statutory and regulatory basis with great accuracy to various stakeholders

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports under statutory/ regulatory reporting basis and calculation of other local reporting KPIsSupport the monthly and quarterly financial close activities and prepare required financial reports/ disclosure notes/ reporting templatesHandle booking of required adjustments, if any, under statutory/ regulatory reporting basisSupport the external audit process and audit conducted by Insurance Commission and timely resolve issues raised by auditorsMonitor financial performance and perform analysis of net profits and other local reporting KPIs in comparison to plan, latest forecast, and prior periodHandle reporting to management of the financial health and provide insights to improve performance and identify trends and potential problems that may affect the company’s financial healthEnsure appropriate internal controls over financial reporting processes under statutory/ regulatory reporting basis and other related processesContinually assess the local financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk, as well as lead/ support the team in implementing the approved enhancements of processes and controls.Support automation initiatives for local financial reporting related processesCommunicate professionally and effectively with other teams to ensure that financial reports and analysis are accurate, and any issues are resolved on a timely mannerPerforms other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/ or other requirements
