Financial Reporting Analyst

**Job Overview:**
The Financial Reporting Analyst position will be performing monthly consolidations, preparing internal and external financial reporting deliverables, and performing monthly financial analysis.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Maintaining and protecting confidential data
+ Preparing consolidated quarterly and annual financials with analysis and disclosures
+ Preparing annual financials with analysis and disclosures for certain legal entities
+ Preparing monthly joint venture financial statements
+ Preparing and loading consolidation journal entries for monthly consolidation
+ Maintaining the consolidation software (deFacto)
+ Validating month-end data within consolidation software
+ Completing month-end checks and collaborating with other team members to ensure reconciliation
+ Preparing monthly financial reporting packages
+ Preparing monthly cost structure and payroll analyses
+ Performing ad-hoc financial analyses
+ Comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
+ Reconciling transactions, comparing and correcting data
+ Other duties as assigned
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required (Pivot Tables, Formulas)
+ Experience with Microsoft Office preferred (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
+ Experience in Data analytics and reporting projects preferred
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
+ Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
+ Effective communication, analytical, computer, and interpersonal skills
+ Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to assist others in defining their needs in a collaborative, tactful manner
+ Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting
+ Strong aptitude for process improvement
+ Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
