Discover more about us at www.amerihealthcaritas.com . **Responsibilities:** Under the oversight and direction of Financial Reporting management, the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing all monthly, quarterly, and annual external financial statements/reports. The Financial Reporting Analyst is also responsible for; Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + GAAP REPORTING: Preparing and validating quarterly state financial reports/fillings and other financial institution reporting, quarterly consolidated MD&A, and other external financial filings. + GAAP REPORTING: Preparing top-side GAAP presentation-related adjustments and maintaining associated dimensions in Oracle. + STATUTORY REPORTING: Preparing and validating quarterly Department of Insurance (DOI) financial reports/fillings and other external financial filings. + STATUTORY REPORTING: Preparing SSAP-related adjustments and maintaining associated dimensions in Oracle. + Preparing audited annual financial statements and related disclosures on a GAAP or SSAP basis and specific contractually required agreed-upon procedures reports or subsections. ·;;;;;;;; Prepare cost model reporting by department and plan for actual expenses, budget, and forecast. ; + Reviewing specific work prepared by the Financial Reporting Analyst, as assigned by Financial Reporting management. + Assisting in the coaching, development and mentoring of financial reporting analysts. + Participating in implementing new FASB ASC or SSAP guidance related to the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements and related disclosures. + Maintaining the Workiva Financial Reporting module and all associated reports, report links, certifications, validation rules, etc. + Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements. **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree. + Experienced in preparing annual audited financial statements, reports, and related disclosures based on U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SSAPs, and/or Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA). + Experience with Hyperion/Oracle or similar ERP systems. + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. + Experience with Workiva or a similar system is preferred. + Healthcare Industry experience preferred. + 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience and financial reporting experience, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm. **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At Amerihealth Caritas, everyone can feel valued, supported, and comfortable to be themselves.
