Also, facilitates assessment and performance review, to identify key issues and set corrective action plans. In addition, assists the Finance Controller to provide effective accounting support of business issues and initiatives. Support the Controller in rolling out R2R agenda and working closely with Sector COE for Reporting, Corporate treasury and Corporate tax, lead on projects like but not limited to Blackline, FMR, automated BSR, etc. Responsibilities • To ensure that all daily transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner utilizing the implemented accounting software. • Preparation & closing monthly books of accounts and comparison with Yago and Plan. • Consolidating and reporting results to Sector/Corporate and provide explanations for changes. • Preparation and presentation of monthly executive deck to leadership team (GM and his direct reports). • Presentation of monthly BSR (Balance Sheet Review) to CFO, Controller & other finance function. • Preparing Pre-close, Representation letter, Annual and Quarterly schedules and submitting to Region and Sector. • Preparation and presentation of Quarterly Cash flow presentation to Sector. • Coordinate the accounting and recording of financial transaction in accordance with USGAAP, PepsiCo policies and in accordance with local statutory requirements on SAP. • Ensure the timely development of relevant and reliable financial information to all ‘stakeholders’ (local statutory reporting, Shareholders, BU/Sector, PI etc.). • Prepare annual statutory accounts for local regulatory purpose and shareholders. • Coordinate statutory Audit & periodic/annual filing of tax & Zakat returns. • Work on local Zakat/tax initiatives and support tax manager to ensure timely filings. • Coordinate with corporate treasury for compliance on all treasury related matters and investment. • Prepare monthly cash forecast and daily bank position and take decision management. • Preparing GCS (Global control standards) for Finance function and Sustain COSO process; risk assessment, update process flows, key controls, etc. • Evaluating the effectiveness of the control through testing (quarterly and/or as required). • Retention / audit trail of GCS documentation. Hyperion Process Owner - HFM SME - HFM trouble shooting - HFM security and users’ authorization processing in line with Region guidelines. SAP GL Supervision • COA maintenance • Month-end and year-end closing tasks • Month & year end accruals • Coordination with COE team on monthly submissions and FI new requirements • Cost center / profit center reporting • Financial statements preparation in SAP Others • Manage the general and administration P&L line. • Manage bank account reconciliation processes and ensures periodical account update. Qualifications • Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a financial reporting role. • Analytical thinking • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong accounting and financial reporting work experience. • Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS. • Knowledge of ERP especially SAP is a must. • Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) is a must. • Working knowledge of Hyperion and Excel Retrieve. • BS in Accounting, Preferably CMA/ CPA /ACA/ MBA
