Our client, a leading real estate developer with major projects in Burnaby, Richmond, and Vancouver, is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, leading audits, and working closely with stakeholders in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the financial reporting manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting working papers.Overseeing monthly accounting processes, including reconciliations, intercompany entries, accounts payable, and distributions.Conducting research and drafting memos to address complex accounting issues.Managing year-end audits, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and key partners.Collaborating with stakeholders and legal counsel to support corporate transactions, compliance, and entity management.Reviewing corporate tax filings in partnership with external tax advisors.Supervising, mentoring, and supporting senior accountants.Handling various tasks and projects as required.Requirements:Designated CPA5+ years of accounting experience2+ years of management experienceReal estate experience is an assetPublic practice experience is an asset
