Obtain knowledge and understanding of client's business; Engaged in financial statement preparation, including supporting workpapers, of alternative investment companies (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds) with simple to medium complexity structure; Conduct research and read pronouncements and illustrative financial statements provided by external auditors that are relevant to the fund; Communicate with manager in-charge for client-related matters; May be asked to communicate/liase directly with external stakeholders such as investment managers, fund administrators and external auditors from the preparation to issuance of financial statements; May be asked to attend internal client meetings, meetings with the auditors and other meetings relevant to the financial statements preparation Perform general accounting, bookkeeping and reporting for selected clients.
