Your opportunity
+ As part of the Financial Risk team, deliver an effective risk oversight program, including partnering with relevant teams to develop and enhance firm-wide tools for assessing, monitoring and reporting on the various aspects of risk.
Market Risk Oversight
+ Provide expertise to the existing Market Risk oversight framework that includes both global requirements as well as region or jurisdiction-specific regulations and especially the specific requirements for US Mutual Funds (SEC regulated Funds). This includes both working with, and providing challenge to, the front office investment risk team and portfolio managers,
+ Advise on best practice and technical standards for market risk methodologies, including VaR modelling and backtesting, and stress testing,
+ Consider ESG metrics with respect to market risk impact.
Liquidity Risk Management
+ Provide expertise to the ongoing development and maintenance of a Liquidity Risk Management Program that meets both firm-wide and regulator specific requirements including policy and related procedures for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on liquidity risk,
+ Advise on liquidity risk management good practice in the context of jurisdictional requirements, and especially the specific requirements for US Mutual Funds (SEC regulated Funds).
Counterparty Risk Management
+ Provide expertise to the ongoing development and maintenance of a Counterparty Risk management framework that supports global requirements as well as region or jurisdiction-specific regulations for monitoring counterparty risk exposure, and performing counterparty risk assessments.

Must have skills
+ 5-7 years relevant experience in market risk, credit or counterparty risk, and/or liquidity risk management,
+ Strong understanding and knowledge of quantitative measures of market risk, counterparty risk, and liquidity risk
+ Understanding of regulatory rules and regulations related to market, liquidity, and counterparty risk, particularly in North America (e.g. SEC Rules 22e-4 and 18f-4),
+ Experience and knowledge of tools to support market, liquidity and counterparty risk management,
+ Knowledge of financial market products, asset management products, and asset management industry preferred,
+ Willingness and ability to create or improve, implement, and maintain new processes, and analytical frameworks,
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred,
+ Professional qualifications are a plus

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $99,500- $104,500. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through March 30, 2025.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
