Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Automotive is seeking a dynamic Financial Senior Analyst to join the Manheim Finance team. This role will be responsible for the monthly analysis and reporting of the consolidated Manheim business as well as financial planning/reporting activities, business health assessments, and various ad hoc analyses.
Contributions will be felt immediately with business partnership, budgeting/planning responsibilities, and key month-end reporting and analysis deliverables. Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting key business drivers. We are a highly collaborative team that partners closely with the Cox Automotive Enterprise Planning team and finance owners of all Manheim lines of business. This role requires a motivated candidate who is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
**Preference will be giving to Cox Automotive employees who reside in Atlanta, GA. The Financial Senior Analyst will be come into the office on a weekly basis.**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly analysis and reporting of the consolidated Manheim business
Develop and communicate a monthly results package that summarizes and presents the financial results and key metrics and KPIs of the business
Ability to analyze large amounts of data, determine key takeaways from the results and articulate the story effectively
Assist with the planning, coordination and facilitation of the annual planning process
Assist with the facilitation of subsequent maintenance to the budget throughout the year
Actively collaborate across the finance business operations team to understand revenue and expense drivers impacting financial performance
Partner with the Cox Automotive Enterprise Planning team to deliver all required and necessary financial information and context to the team, to be consolidated at the Cox Automotive level. This includes recurring, monthly financial results, budget and LRP financial information, in addition to ad hoc financial information and metrics as requested
Evaluate business performance by developing reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives
Complete complex projects and prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of business experience including a strong focus in financial planning and analysis. A candidate may also have a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience
Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity with track record of delivered results
Strong communication skills. Ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and explain financials to various audiences
Advanced MS Excel skills required, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, use of pivot tables, best practice in financial model structure/design, assumption toggling, charting/graphing and formatting for executive presentations
Experience with budgeting/forecasting applications and reporting cubes (e.g. OneStream, Hyperion, Tableau) is a strong plus
Proven ability to prepare executive level presentations and insights
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines
