Responsibilities
Develop relationships with key stakeholders both externally and internally and identify opportunities to provide services across our financial services advisory business (i.e. FSA Campaigns – ESG Team)Develop sustainability reports and climate-related disclosures for financial sector clientsAssist clients in the development of ESG policies alongside implementation tools to support the policiesAssist clients in the development of portfolio decarbonisation strategies and transformation roadmapsSupport clients with adoption and alignment to regulatory requirementsConduct and coach others to conduct comprehensive research on latest ESG themes and developments impacting the financial services industryContribute new ideas as part of a dynamic team to grow the AWM advisory business, with a focus on ESGDevelop points of view on the challenges and the opportunities related to specific ESG and sustainability themes in the financial services industryPursue and win work as a teamExecute multiple engagements and projects with clients in areas of ESG and sustainabilitySupervise and coordinate internal and external projects, e.g. coaching interns and associatesKeep up-to-date and take an active interest in monitoring the latest market trends through internal data gathering as well as continuous external market engagementPrepare presentations, publications and proposals for internal and external usePrepare and deliver presentations for client and internal training sessionsBe proactive in attending industry training and developing ESG expertise / credentialsRequirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – or more; orProfessional qualifications/certifications such as CFA, CAIA, ESG-related or other industry-relevant skills programmesExperience in relevant business domain (at least 2-3 years in a similar position), e.g. providing ESG services to external clientsUnderstanding of key sustainability reporting standards (GRI, ISSB, SASB)Work experience in carbon emissions calculations: Scope 1, 2 and 3 (PCAF knowledge is a plus)Work experience in assessment of climate-related risks and opportunities, as well as scenario analysisWork experience in development and execution of net zero strategies and decarbonisation roadmaps, including carbon target setting (preferably for financial industry clients)Dynamic and self-motivated, passionate about the financial services industry, particularly asset and wealth management and ESGHighly stress resistant and able to demonstrate flexibility and cope with multiple demands and requirements;Capable of producing high quality deliverables with minimal supervisionConfident in client communication, presenting topics and networkingAble to quickly understand a problem, structure ideas, identify possible solutions and key success factors as well as the ability to interpret and assess the impact of the results of an analysis;Rigorous, curious and proactive;Positive attitude and good at multi-tasking; A good balance of considering the big picture and attention to detailsExcellent computer skills (MS Office) and organisational skills and proficient in the use of presentation development apps;Good written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of any other Asia Pacific languages would be considered an asset.Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified)
