This role supports the Senior Analyst role in the daily servicing of a specialized plan sponsors disbursement and contribution activity, works regularly with the outside trustee bank and plan sponsor, and is significant to the health of Nationwide's relationship with the plan sponsor. This role is responsible for open item clearing, collaboration with outside trustee bank and plan sponsor, completion of reconciliations, journal entries, balancing, and issue resolution.
This will be a hybrid role based out of the Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ office.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collects, analyzes, verifies, researches and recommends solutions to processing and booking problems and reports through daily analysis.
Balances and reconciles various cases and suspense account to the general ledger.
Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements.
Ensures accuracy of reporting and reconciliation for various businesses, products and functions.
Trains and cross-trains other team members on work functions and processing procedures.
Acts as technical source to answer questions from other departments.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager/Director.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or related field.
Experience: Two years of experience in accounting, finance, tax reporting or customer service.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate both internally and externally. Ability to set work priorities that conform with established standards.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.
