Financial Services Specialist

Job Profile Summary

Understands how to apply the relevant methods, techniques and processes. Executes operational plan and signals deviations in department policies, structures and processes. Responds to internal customer needs.Analyzes and resolves non-standard transactions, by interpreting procedures within established frameworks and selecting the appropriate route using own judgement.

Key Responsibilities

AR Process

Closely work with stakeholders like sales operation team and controller, to ensure timely and accurate AR clearing in SAP.Maintain AR related records, analysis AR detail and collaborate with Sales and Finance controller team to clear aging itemsInvestigate root cause of AR discrepancies by checking sales documents, collaborate with global team to solve issues
 

VAT Process

Closely work with shared service team and sales operation team to ensure timely and accurate fapiao issuanceMonitor invoicing processes, ensure control in place to prevent errors like double invoicing. Closely work with external vendor to ensure necessary set-up is timely updated regarding to business changeBe actively engaged in VAT-related projects, such as rate changes and system enhancements.


Statistical Reporting

Prepare statistical reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Collaborate with internal teams to respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.


Process Improvement & Others

Support financial statement analysis, audit and reviewIdentify opportunities for process improvement, and initiate process change with collaboration of internal stakeholdersLead automation projects, in partnership with IT and external collaborators.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree with experience in a similar role or Master degree in Finance/Accountancy.Fluent in EnglishGood analytical skill and communication skillCICPA and big-4 experience is a plusAt least 5 year experience in related area
