MAU is hiring a Financial Specialist for our client in Greer, SC. As a Financial Specialist, you will manage financial operations for the Regional Group, focusing on investment and indirect costs across business regions. Key responsibilities include analyzing and reporting financial results, ensuring data accuracy, and processing financial transactions efficiently within established procedures. This is a long-term assignment with the potential for direct hire by the client.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent with 4+ years of related professional experience 5+ years of experience in a finance, controlling, or accounting role, with expertise in reporting, accounting, project management, and, preferably, international finance processes 5+ years of experience with procurement systems and modules, with a preference for SAP expertise General Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple assignments effectively Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent math and analytical abilities Exceptional time management and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team Essential Functions Ensure synchronization of forecasting data between the Americas Region and Central Controlling in Munich Support financial planning and reporting by assisting in annual budget planning for all applicable cost centers Compile and analyze financial data to record transactions and prepare accurate reports Verify correct coding and entry of all transactions in financial systems Investigate discrepancies and make necessary adjustments Maintain monthly actual costs versus budgets for department cost centers within the Region Manage financial operations tasks, such as tracking PO requisitions and performing Goods Receipts in SAP Provide justifications for investments and expenditures Research, compile, and analyze data for special projects Set up and manage all energy accounts across the Americas Prepare and submit monthly energy usage reports to the energy manager and AG central team Track, report, and communicate energy consumption, maintaining an overview of usage Coordinate and monitor expenses to support adherence to annual budgets and financial plans Perform additional duties as assigned
