Financial Specialist Responsibilities: Generate and analyze financial reports using Excel and SAP, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Assist in variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Identify and implement process improvements and automation tools (Excel macros, Power Automate, etc.). Document and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to financial processes. Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial data entry and reporting processes. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and assist with special reporting requests from leadership. Financial Specialist Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related field. Experience in an IFRS-based environment is preferred. Advanced Excel Skills is a MUST (macros, complex formulas). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and improve processes. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required. French or German language skills are an asset. Interested in the Financial Specialist role?
