Summary About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. Responsibilities Serves as a system analyst for organization's financial and accounting systems. Monitor the management and control of funds. Determine corrective action to be taken when users report problems with operations, processing and equipment. Study new legislation and regulatory guides to determine financial policy and procedures for the organization. GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Assist with the management of various automated financial systems (e.g., WAWF, GFEBS, GCSS-Army, and etc.); Support with implementing system changes to maintain financial systems and ensure effective financial oversight; Assist in resolving partial system failures by guiding users on workarounds until systems can be fixed or restored; Keep abreast of changes to regulations, systems, equipment and procedures to provide current regulatory assistance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
