Financial Systems Conversion Specialist
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Systems Conversion Specialist in the Manufacturing industry. As a Financial Systems Conversion Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the setup team, working closely with consultants and system analysts to integrate and manage data. Your primary responsibilities will include auditing, building connections, and providing an independent and strong voice in system conversion processes. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with consultants and system analysts to understand the bigger picture and align system conversion processes + Utilize your expertise in Accounting Software Systems, Adaptive Insights, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to manage and optimize system conversions + Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data feeding into system conversion processes + Conduct thorough auditing of system conversions to verify accuracy and compliance + Establish strong connections within the team and across departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration + Provide a strong, independent voice in decision-making processes, guiding the team towards efficient system conversion practices + Leverage your skills in data analysis to interpret and use data effectively in system conversions + Offer consulting services to the team, sharing your expertise and insights in system conversions + Maintain a proactive approach to identify potential system conversion issues and implement necessary improvements. Requirements + BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired + Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience + Experience with ERP systems + Highly organized and self-motivated + Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing + Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems + Auditing skills + Consulting experience + Proficiency in Data Analysis + Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity + Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills + Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports **All candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
