Responsibilities The Opportunity Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and payments for UKI BU Support Control leadership by supporting local tax agenda Your Impact As Cntrl & Rpt Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist: Ensure an accurate calculation for UK and Ireland Tax returns which includes, Corp. tax, VAT, PSAYE, STBV and other returns on time Coordinte all stakeholders to ensure payments are made on time including VAT, Corp tax, PSAAYE, etc. Provide guidance and advice on VAT rates to the business based on an agreed framewor SupportLead the timely and accurate tax financial reporting under USGAAP timely and accurate oin a monthly basis, including balance sheet reconciliations Lead Support the tax reporting to US Corp. and sSector control in a timely and accurate manner Coordinate and supportprepare Tax notes for statutory financial statements (prepared by external consultants) ensuring alignment with BU cController/Assistant Controller Support deferred tax calculation and analysis to Eensure compliance with government tax authorities related to deferred tax calculation Completing/approving SAP MDG requests for NPD tax codes Lead and ensurethe Qquarterly budgeting and forecasting of VAT for cashflowtax expense Own GCS controls in the tax reporting area to ensure effectiveness Lead the agenda of SOX and GCS compliant tax reporting and calculation Support annual SAO certification Support the analysis for the Corporation tax return (prepared by external consultants) Support ad-hoc tasks for tax agenda Lead the continuous improvement/automation agenda in the tax reporting area Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Experience Good understanding of SAP and HFM (practical experience preferred) Strong core/technical accounting skills and general tax knowledge (deep tax expertise is not required) Excellent English Language skills US GAAP tax accounting (FAS109) US GAAP accounting standards UK GAAP accounting knowledge (desirable) ACA or equivalent qualification Ability to prioritise Excellent communicator and team player Self-starter, proactive approach Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle/HFM an advantage) Ability to prioritise and work under pressure/deadlines Excellent English Language skills Excellent communicator and team player Self-starter, proactive approach Desirable Practical Tax experience (e.g. VAT return preparation, Corp tax, etc.) Dealing with HMRC/Tax Authorities and professional advisors Managing an outsourced team If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
