ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests. Ability to describe all menu items, prices and methods of preparation. Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties. Maintain tables throughout service thereby providing great service to the guests, maximizing sales through up selling and ensuring that all guest’s expectations are met. Control guest checks and secure proper payment. Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining and service areas. Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High school or equivalent education required. Must be 18 years of age to serve alcohol. TABC certified and Tips Trained required; Food Handlers required. One year of experience as a food server in a full-service restaurant is required. Have knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
