**Job Title: Finish Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. This role involves working on steel stud walls, finishing trim, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation of specialized wood products including cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and more. **Responsibilities** + Construct steel stud walls and apply finishing trim. + Install acoustical ceilings and complete interior finishing tasks. + Install specialized wood products such as cabinets, doors, windows, and trim. + Read and interpret blueprints for project execution. + Ensure precise measurements using tape measures and power tools. + Work on commercial construction projects adhering to quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of finish carpentry experience. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Strong skills in finish carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodworking. + Experience with the installation of cabinetry, windows, and doors. + Ability to use tape measures, power tools, and other carpentry equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Commercial construction experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join one of the largest contractors in West Michigan, offering great PTO and a comprehensive benefits package. Expect to work 40 to 50 hours per week. Current projects are located in Ironwood and Kalamazoo Country Club.
