Finish Line Production Supervisor

JOB DUTIES:

Conducts daily safety meetings.  Focuses on driving Safety, quality, and productivity. Reviews production schedules daily, assigns hourly workers as required. Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.  Maintains electronic time and production records for department. Be a role model for safety and promote a zero-injury safety culture.  Identify safety issues and take immediate action.  Perform any other tasks as assigned. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.  Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment. 2 -3 years of Supervisory experience. Effective communication and leadership skills. Initiative-taking and an efficient analytical person. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Ability to effectively work in a team environment. Work occasional Saturdays or off shifts. Experience working in a union environment. Must be able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels.  Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.Occasionally Walking, standing, stretching, bending, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements. Frequently  Talk, hear, read, write, and comprehend English. Frequently Ability to read, write and effectively communicate.
