This role in summary

The purpose of this role is to provide material management and allocation of manpower resources to the maintenance function and validate material is available for maintenance/projects  when needed.  This includes ensuring the material is shipped on time and received/stored accurately, manpower is properly allocated and proper tools and support are available for the successful completion/ implementation of the maintenance process or project installation.  The role communicates directly with the supply base and the maintenance team on any supply issues and works with internal partners on quality and inventory issues.  This role communicates directly with the suppliers, transportation resources, and the maintenance team to facilitate the successful maintenance of the department’s equipment. .

 

We are currently looking to fill:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm

 

Hourly rate of pay is $34.35

Your responsibilities will include

Be responsible for a planning of maintenance activities and assuring that proper parts, tools, and equipment are available. 

Correct and reconcile packing list discrepancies and resolve all payment issues with suppliers

Cycle count parts to insure inventory accuracy and drive true and accurate requirements to assure maintenance, replacement, and project parts are available

Work with engineering and Project groups to ensure  implementation to guarantee safe, efficient completion of maintenance projects and new process implementations. 

Work  with Global Strategic Sourcing and Supply Operations to resolve supply shortages

Work with new model planning to integrate new parts released for production

Learn and use all materials planning tools, including PC portal, SAP, and Windchill

Lead and/or participate in Tulsa continuous improvement projects

Supporting processes related to PM and AM pillars, Process Transformation, QM, and driving scrap, OEE, and OPY in related departments. 

Minimum requirements

Forklift license

24/7 availability as needed

SAP experience

Minimum of 1 year working in Whirlpool Maintenance/Supply chain roles or equivalent

 

Preferred skills and experiences

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Supply Chain management knowledge

Maintenance experience

Understanding lean concepts

Fluency with google tools

Excellent problem solving abilities
