Join our team as a **Finisher II** and play a key role in perfecting 3D printed parts! You will primarily be working on post processing for 3D printed dentures, polishing and preparing for final use. You’ll handle post-processing tasks like sanding, polishing, and more to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics. Depending on workload, you may also be asked to finish prototype and production non-denture parts. Attention to detail, quality inspection, and a commitment to safety and organization are essential for success in this role.
**What you will be doing:**
+ Spends the majority of time polishing 3D printed dentures to final quality state
+ May prepare parts for finishing
+ Uses a variety of electric and hand tools such as sanders to smooth surfaces and edges and polish
+ May review files of each part assigned and follows work order instructions and customer blueprints to ensure finished part meets customer requirements, with an understanding of build ID and the work order
+ May perform finishing techniques for prototype models and production parts under minimal supervision
+ Demonstrates knowledge of different material types and which finishing techniques are required for each
+ May perform insert installation, hole tapping, and assembly
+ Performs segment bonding on oversized parts
+ Uses a variety of hand tools to touchup parts as needed before turning in finished work
+ Performs basic 6-point inspection with minimal supervision where required
+ Understands and uses of Solid Jobs and Solid View
+ Understands shipment schedule and shipment dates
+ Complies with Quality Management System
+ Follows all standard operating procedures for department and ISO, ITAR, and Aerospace requirements
+ Maintains traceability of all parts in build by completing required paperwork and comparing quantity of the build to the order, and for serialization if needed
+ Completes and properly signs off on all paperwork and computer work for each job
+ Accurately reads and records information (i. e. material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) that is critical to the manufacturing process
+ Observes and identifies faulty parts based on work orders
+ Follows established production workflow for part traceability
+ Addresses problems with parts and production with Lead/Supervisor
**Must have for this role:**
+ Intermediate Math skills
+ Intermediate Computer experience (Microsoft Office and email)
+ Experience working with hands, specifically using fine motor skills
+ Keen attention to details
+ Good mechanical aptitude and craftsmanship
+ 1-2 year of previous measurement experience using hand tools
+ 1-2 year of previous experience working with shop equipment including drill press, hand drills, sanders, UV lighting, etc.
+ Ability to work well independently and or with a partner(s)
+ Fast learner and willing to accept constant feedback to improve on performance to meet customers required results
**Nice to have:**
+ 2+ years previous work experience in manufacturing end use parts
+ Experience with precision measurement equipment a plus
+ Ability to read blueprints and customer drawings is a plus but not required

**Additional Information:**
For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $36,362 to $45,394, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
