FINISHING OPERATOR

DuPont Electronics & Industrial division is immediately hiring Finishing Operators to work at our Parlin manufacturing site located in Sayreville, NJ.  The site is located near NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.

Our products serve the semiconductor, advanced chip packaging, circuit board, electronic and industrial finishing, photovoltaic, display, and digital and flexographic printing industries. Electronics & Industrial is a leading innovator with unmatched materials integrations expertise, built upon our recognized strong customer relationships and our global market presence. 

The Parlin facility employs about 250 people and manufactures products which serve consumers in Electronics and Imaging/Printing Market. Employees hired will start at $30.00/hour. DuPont offers a competitive 401k match at 6% dollar for dollar and an additional 3% at no cost to the employee. RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION ​

The Cyrel® Operations unit is a 24/7 operation and the position will be 8-hour rotating shift (i.e. 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm, 10:30pm-6:30am). Employee’s will be compensated with shift premium on top of their hourly rate when working second or third shift. There are also other roles at the site that would allow for further career development/progression.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:​

Follow all safety requirements.

Assess the Finished Product from Manufacturing line to ensure our polymer printing plates meet quality requirements.

Setup and ongoing Maintenance of the packing materials and the subsequent packing of polymer printing plates as they come off the machine.

Basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.

Trained in use of power equipment in order to move product and packing materials.

Utilizing SAP to complete transactions for Truck Billing/packaging.

Various other tasks as assigned by supervision are require as a part of the daily routine to maintain safe operation and area standards (i.e. general housekeeping, etc.).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS​

Your qualifications profile:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

An individual must be flexible, adaptable, dependable, reliable, and must be able to work in a team environment.

Must be able to follow written instructions, basic arithmetic, and keep written logs.

Must be physically fit, be able to stand for 8-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs. and have a medical clearance.

Willing and able to work a rotating shift, holidays, weekends, and over-time when necessary (possible mandatory overtime).

Valid Driver’s License

Preferred:

3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment.

Power equipment experience

Successful candidate will need to be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation.
