We are seeking highly motivated, dependable self-starters who are interested in working for a safe, well-established global company.  As a Finishing Operator, you will provide support for Dow's manufacturing operations through the packaging and distribution of Dow products. You are a team player that is a problem solver and are willing to step up to help the team succeed in an empowered environment.

Packaging products for our global customersInteracting with chemical processesManually breaking-down pallets of material and productsArranging, stacking, and repackaging all types of materials and productsAffixing labels, stickers or booklets on packaged materialsSafe operation of a forklift or other heavy equipmentDisplay behaviors that demonstrate ownership in the success for The Dow Chemical CompanyIdentify, prioritize and safely accomplish tasks while working independently to overcome daily obstacles

Qualifications

Willing and able to work all applicable shifts on a rotating basis (including weekends) and work overtime when neededSuccessfully complete a background check and pass a drug screen if job offer is received and acceptedAble to demonstrate basic computer skillsMust be 18 years old or olderMust have a current, valid US driver’s license A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
