Finishing Operator Trainee - Night Shift
The person who occupies this position is to train on the finishing equipment in order to process a particular flat carton job order and oversee its production. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list.
Performs basic equipment operations, tests, and change-overs of the Folder Gluers or finishing equipment. Assists all change-overs to gain knowledge of the equipment and the Make Ready process for the Folder Gluer equipment. Tests and inspects products, performance, configurations, and equipment as required to ensure consistent quality and operational standards are maintained. Operates Folder Gluers and related peripheral/supporting equipment for the purpose of manufacturing folding cartons when coverage is needed. Fills in for all supports positions when needed to maintain production efficiency Interprets and documents standards related to equipment and product performance. Support and Develop (Lean) initiatives (5s, TPM, Daily Management). Performs other organizational duties as required. Supervision for position is random and minimal. Knowledge-H.S. Education or equivalent, computer literate, Operator Assistant qualified to a 3 Rating or better for all 4 Levels. Cartonpack Tech qualified to a 3 Rating or better for all 2 Levels Minimum of 6 months in a Cartonpack Tech position Skills-Mechanical, communication. Abilities-Good attendance, guide teams/processes, ability to work shift flexibility and work alone. Knowledge-H.S. Education or equivalent, computer literate, Operator Assistant qualified to a 3 Rating or better for all 4 Levels. Cartonpack Tech qualified to a 3 Rating or better for all 2 Levels Minimum of 6 months in a Cartonpack Tech position Skills-Mechanical, communication. Abilities-Good attendance, guide teams/processes, ability to work shift flexibility and work alone.
