JOB PURPOSE: To take responsibility for setting and running the rewinding machine and taking responsibility for quality inspecting printed reels of labels and label/leaflets to ensure that all goods released are fit for purpose in accordance with 1S090001, 2000 & PS9000, 2001 and the company\u2019s best practice quality procedures. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: To set and run rewinding machine Follow line clearance procedures on machine and surrounding area To inspect each order in accordance with final release procedures and agreed sampling plans To quality inspect printed reels and ensuring only conforming goods are released for dispatch to customers To remove defect product and report faults and shortages to Team Leader Pack jobs to customer satisfaction and specification and release for dispatch To ensure correct and accurate processing of sequential numbering/back numbering of jobs to meet customer requirement where appropriate To ensure customer specifications are executed, e.g. Certificate of Conformity To make quality judgements when required, taking into account individual customer quality requirements To adhere to Health & Safety standards and best practice To maintain good housekeeping standards To be a flexible team member and assist in other ad hoc duties to ensure the function operates efficiently and effectively This list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive and SmurfitWestrock would expect you to carry out any other reasonable duty which you are capable of performing. Training for this role will take place in our Dublin Fonthill site, Fonthill road, Dublin 22 for approx 3 months before a move to a new premises beside Dublin Airport.
